Position Overview
The Web Developer will lead in the maintenance, design and implementation of existing and future web applications for the HSF website (www.humberlife.com). The incumbent will work under the direction and supervision of the Communications Director and will be a key member of the Communications team.

 

Responsibilities

You will be expected to plan, research, maintain, code, test and deploy web projects including, but not limited to:

  • Static html websites and microsites meeting up-to-date CSS and web standards
  • Content Management System (WordPress)
  • E-newsletters and email-based campaign blasts
  • Multimedia presentations

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in web site maintenance
  • Use of Content Management Systems and Portals (Specifically WordPress)
  • Strong visual design, layout and typographic skills
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
  • Knowledge of W3C standards, cross browser and platform markup, and accessibility
  • Ability to work in PC environment
