Position Overview
The Graphic Designer will work under the direction of the Communications Director/Coordinator and is responsible for designing HSF communication pieces.

Responsibilities

• Develop a wide variety of projects from creative concept through to completion including but not limited to brochures, posters, banners, logos, signage, swag, direct marketing pieces and web-related graphics
• Summer design projects include HSF Summer Information Package, Student Handbook, and Frosh Week promotional pieces.
• Prepare files for production while maintaining clean file management and backups

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1-year design experience
• Must be familiar with current print and web design programs (Adobe Creative Suite 5)
• Strong understanding of design and advertising principles
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
• Must possess strong production and organizational skills
• Copywriting skills an asset
• Portfolio required
